Punched marked coins
Students of class 6 learnt about the punched marked coins used during the magadha period.
To understand the process of making these coins the students were demonstrated with the help of a candle and and coin.
The wax was dropped on a sheet of paper and with the help of the coin it was punched on the wet wax to give the impression of it's pattern.
An enriching activity was enjoyed by all.
