Visit to Qutub Minar
On the occasion of world heritage day the school organized an educational field trip on 13th April to witness the magnificent Minar of Delhi belonging to the 12th century(mamluk dynasty) that explains much about the rich cultural heritage Delhi had.
Monuments can't speak but the architecural beauty explains alot about it's cultural heritage and legacy that we have carried and tressured with us for so many years.
The students were amazed to see Qutub Minar, the tallest building in India of the ancient times that forms a part of Qutub complex, a UNESCO world heritage site in Delhi. As the students walked along the complex, the shadow of the tall minaret with a great history took them into the past. The little historians couldn’t conceal their curiosity and asked many questions as they learned about the history and architecture of the breath-taking monument. They were equally fascinated to see the ‘Iron Pillar’, situated within the complex, and the inscriptions on it written in various languages.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the trip and came back with a pandora box of knowledge which made the excursion fruitful and joyous.
A great exposure for all the students!
