                   FOOTSTEPS FOR GOOD (CBSE-i SPORTS FEST)

Footsteps for Good- Sports Championship for CBSE-i Schools was held on 22nd and 23rd November,2016 in school ground of DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave. Mr. Sanjay Bhardwaj, Cricket coach and mentor at LB Shastri Cricket Academy was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. Rahul Khanna, the famous theatre personality from Asmita Theatre group too graced the occasion. The inauguration started with DAV Anthem and a spirited dance performance by class III students. Mrs. Rashmi Raj Biswal, Principal of the school told the participants to play the game in perfect sportsmanship and always to give their best. Aditya of Class 6, read the oath followed by all the participants. Mr. Sanjay Bhardwaj mentioned the need to start early in life to become good sports person and declared the Atheletic Meet open. The first day, a number of track and field events were organized for class 3 to 7 CBSE-i and second day, the children of UKG to class II CBSE-i ran vigorously for the medals. The winner trophy was bagged by Salwan, Gurgaon and Runner up trophy was bagged by DL DAV Model School, ND-Block, Pitampura.
